Coronado Golf
Course is a par-62, shorter, executive course which
opened in 1984. Sand, water, hilly lies and tough pin placements
make it a test for the short game with only par 3's and 4's to
navigate the just short of 3,400 yards. Mostly elevated, don't let
the shortened course distance fool you. The Casa Coronado Grill
offers quick grill dining before or after a round of golf.

Coronado Community Center
Coronado Community Center is an 18,000 square-foot multipurpose
facility. It's central location makes it a perfect choice for many
Village organizations, committees, service clubs, instructional
classes, and the Hot Springs Village Board of Directors, who meet at
the center twice a month. The Coronado Room will hold 450 guests for
a lecture and 320 guests for a sit-down catered dinner. Dance
instructors and performing groups often rent Room 6 with its
mirrored wall. Arts and crafts groups prefer Room 5 with a sink. The
versatility of carpeted Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 feature foldaway doors
to allow clients to expand their space requirements. Also available
to meet client needs are the choice of card tables, round banquet
tables or six-foot rectangle tables. A commercial kitchen,
tablecloths, and tableskirts are available for rent, as well as
audio/visual equipment. The center can provide drink service and
even special lighting, upon request. If you have special needs,
managment will be happy to assist your club or organization with an
event. The staff invites you to stop by and visit the Coronado
Community Center. Dances are also held at this facility in the
auditorium portion of the building on a hardwood dance floor that
was installed in 1998.

Coronado Library
The Coronado Library was expanded in 2002 to add an
additional 2,700 square feet to the existing 1,400 square feet. The
expansion allows the library to grow as needed and is an excellent
place to sit back, relax, and have a stunning view of Lake Coronado.
Annual Library cards are $6.25 per person and can be purchased at
the POA Administration building or the Library. Books may be checked
out for up to three weeks. Reserved and new books may be checked out
for up to two weeks. Books can be returned to the library during
normal business hours, and after hours to a drop box located in the
parking area of the Coronado Center. Library patrons are limited to
three new or reserved books per card. The library will notify you of
reserved books by phone. Reserved books will be held for two days
before they are returned to circulation. Books can be renewed as
longs as they have not been reserved. Books, audios, and current
periodicals may be donated directly to the librarian. Cash donations
should be made out to the Property Owners' Association.

Coronado Tennis Center
Coronado Tennis Center has ten
clay courts (four lighted) and three hard courts. Over 400 senior
tennis players, levels 3.5-4.5, utilize the courts on a regular
basis. The opportunities for play are numerous and varied. Coronado
Tennis Center offers organized leagues at all levels for men and
women who like to have a definite time for play each week. These
include men's, women's, and mixed doubles leagues. In addition, for
those who prefer to plan just a week at a time, there are weekly
'scrambles' for men and women. Many USA teams call Coronado Tennis
Center home. In 2001, over 20 teams (men's, women's, adult, senior,
super senior, levels 2.5-4.5, as well as combo and mixed combo
teams) are playing for Hot Springs Village. Over the years, seven
teams have made it to the Nationals; none of these finished lower
than fourth. One team, the men's 3.5 senior team, were National
Champions in 1995. For 15 years, the Hot Springs Village Tennis
Association has had a yearly exhange with its sister village, Bella
Vista. As many as 120 people have gone to Bella Vista for a weekend
of tennis and social fun. The HSV Tennis Association's competition
committee runs five to seven social tennis playing programs per
year. A person new to the Village can come and play five times a
week, right away, in organized play. There is a level for everyone.
One player didn't begin playing tennis until the age of 79. Now in
his 80's, he continues to play four times a week. The professional
staff at Coronado Tennis Center consists of head pro Bob Wagstaff,
and assistant pro Travis Johnson. Both offer group and private
lessons as well as USA league training. A ball machine is available
for rent. The Coronado Tennis Center recently dedicated a new
clubhouse. The 1,450 square foot structure is over 500 square feet
larger than the old facility. The clubhouse also includes a 400
square foot covered patio. The new clubhouse features a check-in
